The FABARM S.P.A. Company is one of Italy's main manufacturers of tactical, defensive and Police shotguns, In fact, FABARM shotguns were used and well-appreciated by lots of civilian gun owners and professional operators (military, law enforcement, private security personnel) all around the globe. In 2014, the company launched the "FABARM Professional" line − a specialized lineup of 12-gauge, pump-action shotguns conceived mainly for military and law enforcement customers − The main product is the STF/12 series.

The FABARM STF/12 is a 12-gauge pump-action shotgun with a 3" Magnum chamber, featuring a ventilated sheet metal barrel shroud, MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny railed forend and a polymer pistol grip, and either a black fixed or side-folding polymer buttstock or a proprietary lightweight aluminum alloy collapsible buttstock. Both the pistol grip and the polymer forend come with an outer Soft Touch slip-proof, gripping finish. and with a racing-style trigger and a triangle-shaped, ambidextrous safety button.

Fabarm STF-12 shotguns feature rifle-type fixed iron sights as a default option, and another worth mentioning is a quick-detach 1913 Picatinny rail that runs above the receiver and barrel with screw kit, which can host either iron sights or LPA "Ghost Ring" iron sights, or various optical sights, according to user choice.
